I feel so good to have found a fitness lifestyle and curvy physique that works for me. I’m not tall, I’m not thin, delicious eating is damn near orgasmic for me, so to be honest - being 120lbs will never be my God-given reality.
However, after a long time on this thick fit journey, I can truly say I love the way my body fits me – and I want to share this transformative place with YOU!
In today’s world, many think it’s not possible to achieve this hourglass shape w/o surgery…
Well I’m here to tell you IT IS… NATURALLY!
But…and this is a big buttttt (no pun intended lol) …It takes a lotta a hard WERK!
“I want an ass, but I don’t want to lift weights” …NOT POSSIBLE!
“I want a slim waist, but I don’t want to change my diet” …NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
THE HOURGLASS SECRET
Now the biggest secret to the hourglass shape is *drumroll please*…
It’s All An ILLUSION!
You’re creating the perception of a wide bust, slim waist, and wide hips + a phatty + thick thighs to present a curvaceous coke bottle figure. Even if you’re not shaped that way, you can create the illusion starting with your hip to waist ratio.
3 TIPS FOR THE HOURGLASS SHAPE
#1: UNDERSTAND YOUR IDEAL DIET!
First off, you gotta eat! You can’t have a hot body and starve yourself. Your booty and quads need protein and food to build muscle for that outwardly curvaceous coke bottle shape. Butttt, keeping it real, for most of us not eating isn’t the problem, over-eating and bad eating is. So, an hourglass shape golden rule is you also can’t eat crap.” You cannot outwork a bad diet. I tried for 5 years and it didn’t work.
Starting Place – Track It!
What you must do is TRACK YOUR CALORIE INTAKE EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR 5 DAYS! This is what I did, and it was a game changer. Tracking for 5 days helps you understand what your starting calorie point is, which you can continue to track. Right down what you eat…AND DON’T CHEAT. Include even gum (which is 10 calories per stick), peppermints, soda, cappuccinos and calculate how many calories you’re intaking per day.
YOU MUST BE IN A CALORIC DEFICIT! Burn more calories than you intake. I was eating 5,000 calories per day. I’m talking pasta and carbs galore at night – for no damn reason. Track those bad habits and cut em! Easiest area to cut out is BEVERAGES! Eliminate the soda, coffee, and definitely alcohol.
APP SUGGESTION: MY PLATE
Then track your CALORIE BURN RATE. If you’re sitting on the job for most of the day, you’re not burning anything. So, incorporate more simple exercises to burn like going for a 30m walk during lunch.
APP SUGGESTION: ANY WALKING APP FOR YOUR SMART PHONE. ALSO FIT BIT, I LOVE FIT BIT!!!
#2: EMBRACE THE WEIGHTS
Ever do 100 body squats and wonder why your booty aint growing? It’s because you need to lift heavy weights. Now that doesn’t mean go lift 200lbs tomorrow, but it does mean you need to challenge your body at whatever level you’re at.
You gotta create the muscle! Women complain about the flabby parts, but you gotta turn that into muscle. More muscle width at the top and bottom makes it easier to create the hourglass illusion of a slimmer waist.
Starting Weight Workouts
Upper Body: Bench Press (start with bar 45lb bar) & Renegade Row
Lower Body: Squats & Lunges (moderate weight, enough to feel a little burn)
#3: 360 BABY - DON’T SPOT TREAT
If I had a dollar for every time someone says I just want to lose my stomach or my arm or my double chin or my thighs – I’d be Warren Buffet. It doesn't work that way. YOU CAN NOT SPOT TREAT! It’s impossible. You can’t control where the gains go. Learn to embrace a little bit of fluff to refine your thickness.
